What types of belly dance classes do you offer?
We offer beginner to advanced belly dance classes, private lessons, workshops, and performance training. Our classes focus on technique, rhythm, posture, and choreography — perfect for all experience levels.
Do I need prior dance experience to join?
Not at all! Our classes welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Each class is structured so you can learn at your own pace.
What should I wear to class?
Comfortable workout clothing such as leggings, a tank top, or a hip scarf is ideal. Barefoot or dance shoes are recommended — just make sure you can move freely.
Do you provide props or should I bring my own?
We have limited props available for new students. If you have veils, zills, or canes, feel free to bring them. Advanced students are encouraged to bring their own for practice.
How can I book a class or private lesson?
You can book directly through our Classes page or contact us for private session availability. Once you choose a class, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details.
Why do I see “no availability” when trying to book?
This usually happens when the next month’s schedule hasn’t rolled over yet. Please check back closer to the start of the new month or contact us for assistance.
How many students are allowed per class?
Each class has limited capacity to ensure personalized attention. Check the class description for available spots.
Can I cancel or reschedule a class?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule within the cancellation window listed in your booking confirmation email. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept payments via Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App and major credit/debit cards.
Are there refunds for missed classes?
Refunds are not provided for missed classes. However, if you notify us in advance, we may allow you to attend a make-up class.
Do you charge tax or shipping fees?
No. Our services are not taxed and do not include any shipping fees.
Do you perform at private events or parties?
Yes! We offer professional belly dance entertainment for weddings, bachelorette parties, corporate events, cultural festivals, and more.
How far in advance should I book a dancer for my event?
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially for weekends or large events.
Can you customize performances to match my event's theme or music?
Absolutely! We tailor each performance based on your preferences, event type, and audience — from elegant stage shows to interactive entertainment.
Where are your classes held?
Classes are held at Dana’s Dance Academy in Irving, Texas. Directions and parking details are available on our Contact page.

Do you travel outside the DFW area for workshops or shows?
Yes, Neenah is available for workshops and performances outside the DFW area upon request. Travel fees may apply.
